The class examines how international criminal cases are handled by the International Criminal Court and provides an overview of its functions, benefits and weaknesses.<\/p>\n<p>Each week-long unit of International Law In Action: Investigating and Prosecuting International Crimes requires 2 to 4 hours of study time to complete. The course material is presented in the form of videos and readings. Most weeks, students will watch seven videos and complete one reading.<\/p>\n<p>An exam is given at the end of the unit to see how much of the course material students have retained. The units include The International Criminal Justice System: Core Concepts and Foundations, The International Criminal Justice System: Justice Institutions and Procedures, Trying Perpetrators and
